with a little twist to fit our malay tongue. hehe.

then, there were 8 of us. welcome back to Bandung, afira and syazzni :)

went to Rumah Makan Sederhana, Jl Riau. terkenal dengan masakan Padang. ada sedikit persamaan dengan masakan Melayu. so, i'm loving it!

macam-macam ada atas meja.

ada juga ayam pop

meja di seberang juga begini. penuh dengan makanan. so, it's no weird situation.
jangan membazir. only take what you can eat.

i managed to eat the top part. the lower part, can stimulate diabetes. too sweet.

for these, each of us paid IDR 42, 300 approximately equal to MYR 15.20. syukur Alhamdulillah.

malam ini juga, ku tidak ketemu tommy. he is leaving for seoul, korea. i wish him all the best. although its been only a short time i get to know you, you are a great person. full of enthusiastic! keep the spirit alive. we're going to miss you. i hope to see you in the future. take care, have a safe journey. maybe you can bring home, a wife originally made in Korea. winkwink.

today, i went to maspras chicken house which used to be near simpang. but, now it is situated near my place. great, right?

thanks hawa and aina for the desert.
we managed to prepare dadih coklat before i went for berbuka.

one of my bestfriend since i'm in Bandung,Ditha got to spend her time with me for berbuka. yeay! although she just came back from Jakarta. she is about to have her graduation soon.

tapi, pabila berada di Indonesia. you are not only have to face seminar, but you are also required to face sidang. seminar is where you need to present your final year project in front of several lecturers and students who can make it to attend. kami, sebagai penonton wajib datang untuk kehadiran. yeap, although it is only a credit hour. whereas, sidang, you will be in front of several lecturers and they will ask you anything about your studies while you are in the faculty. yeap, one hell of creepy moment.

okay, boring.

after spending 3 days, break fast around bandung. we have decided to cook today.

i helped hawa to cook the fish.
and

the egg

hawa also brought along sup ikan. homemade.

amy cooked the vegetables.

while nana helped yati to prepared the chicken.

aina prepared air sirap bandung with cincau.

they managed to make corn pudding. thanks hawa, yati & nana.

nana, you can now make us one of these.

setelah selesai, solat isyak dan tarawih dikerjakan secara berjemaah. semoga diterima amal ibadat kami olehNya. InsyaAllah.

we watched movie. 2 movies actually. first up, case 39. 'why emily? why emily? why emily?' then, we watched orphan. max is so cute. actually, i watched orphan for several times. its my genre, i guess. what a day, huh. FUN, that is.

went to Pasar Simpang Dago. again. FOOD FIESTA! :) but, nana did not join us. dia sangat setia dengan warung makan depan rumahnya. :p

these are mine, nasi bakar with ikan bawal bakar manis pedas & bubur pacar

these belongs to hawa, martabak & cireng ayam pedas + cireng keju

these belongs to aina, es cendol & nasi bakar with ayam bakar madu, tahu goreng
this belongs to yati, i think its the same with aina. minus sayur and tahu

these belongs to ours, we bought the same. sikit-sikit lama-lama jadi bukit. ada jojongkong, onde-onde, putu mayang, kuih lopis.

i bought my main dish which was nasi bakar with ikan bawal bakar manis pedas, cost me IDR 15,000. i bought mix of jojongkong, onde-onde, putu mayang and bubur pacar, cost me IDR 9,500. total i spend: IDR 24,500, approximately equal to MYR 8.80. cool aint it? menu utama dimakan tanpa perkongsian. but, we shared the side dish. jangan membazir.

pencarian tempat makan untuk berbuka puasa. yeay!

we went to Rumoh Makan Raja Melayu, Jl. Citarum No. 10 Bandung. walaupun orang yang mengambil pesanan agak kurang ramah. yeap, i don't like him. at all. lapar sangatkah? be polite. customer is always right. hello? :p food great. we spend less than IDR 50,000. to be exact IDR 41,000 which approximately equal to MYR 14.70. per head. cheap ain't it? kenyang pun kenyang. we're happy.

the choices of food: ayam pandan, kari kepala ikan kakap, ketam. macam-macam ada :)

these are ours, nasi putih, sayur pucuk ubi masak lemak, pepes ikan kembung, perkedel melayu, sambal petai udang, sambal ijo cumi, rendang ayam, gulai, ikan kembung sambal berlado.
yes, kami tambah lagi ayam, sotong dan juga udang. food fiesta!

this is marquisa juice, belongs to yati. the seeds a little annoying to drink. after all, it is fresh. so, drink it up!

this is masala chai, belongs to amy. it is mixed of teh tarik + thai tea with sprinkle of cinnamon.

this is spicy hot chocolate, belongs to me. caution: it is super sweet. i need a glass of water to dilute it. then, it taste delightful.

this is ice chocolate, belongs to aina. enjoyable!

this is lemon squash, belongs to hawa. sour. that's good for digestion.

this is lychee juice, belongs to nana. its different from what we have in Malaysia. it seems like its in blended form. interesting!

here are some pictures taken on the first day of Ramadhan. this was taken at ROEMAH KEBOEN Jl. Riau no. 156. Bandung. the service was great. cozy place to hangout. the food. don't get me started. yes, i love food. who doesn't? duh.

these below, belongs to aina. she was having beef amiyaki and es cendol bandung

these below, belongs to nana. she was having es kelapa pringgodani and poulet aux citroenz. how exactly to pronounce it? can someone help me out. >.<

these below, belongs to yati. she was having shabu-shabu and cappucino float.

these below, belongs to hawa. she was having seafood misonabe and green coco pine.

these below, belongs to me. i'm having fillet kakap a'la romana and luchyous tea. tajil and popiah goreng for everyone. for this i paid, IDR 65,500 including the 15% of tax. it is approximately equal to MYR 23.50.

selamat menyambut bulan Ramadhan. mari memenuhi bulan yang penuh mulia ini dengan amalan. it is not too late. semoga tahun ini lebih baik dari sebelum-sebelumnya. InsyaAllah. i thought there was no more Ramadhan in Bandung. guess what, i'm still in Bandung. and alive.
